For the D&AD Newblood 2020 brief, Penguin wanted designers to Heighten the reading experience for young people with Penguin by developing a product that enhances the relationship with books.  For this concept's development I worked with several other designers to create an idea for an interactive physical space where young people can engage with audiobooks or as physical copies facilitated by Penguin. This could be an open community area or a hosted area such as a university or library where readers could relax or move freely.
My job was to create posters and advertising that attracted the attention of prospective new readers. This involved simple posters and imagery that would be advertised throughout a city. Each set of posters has a QR code that can be scanned to direct users to these interactive spaces. I emulated the traditional orange colouring of the penguin brand and created basic illustrations that use space to attract attention.
